Summary

Angelica somehow picks up the idea of prank calling by Stu's gadget, and racks up a gigantic bill on The Pickles' account by ordering almost every dessert product from their local deli.

Recap

Stu has created a new gadget: The Voice Frequency Modulator 5000. This item enables people to "throw their voice", or sound like someone else. Then Stu and Didi leave to go to the Wonderful World of Wicker seminar, and ask Lou to watch the kids without falling asleep, and not to order any junk food, jokingly threatening to take his teeth away.

Lou orders a healthy lunch for himself, Tommy and Angelica from the local deli, Zippy Snappy Home Delivery. Angelica protests about what she's getting, but Lou tells Angelica that he doesn't want to get his teeth taken away. Disappointed with what she has to eat, and waiting for Lou to go to sleep, Angelica uses the item to prank-call the deli to order food pretending to be her mother, Charlotte. Of course, Angelica orders everything from the dessert menu. Tommy threatens Angelica by warning Lou. She then tells everyone she knows to get more toys. The deli truck arrives, so Angelica uses the voice-changer as well as a portrait of Didi to make the man leave.

However, to the screech of the van wakes Lou up, who later discovers that Angelica prank-called the deli. Then, he gets a call from Didi, telling him that due to a very serious splinter incident, the Wonderful World of Wicker seminar was canceled, and also telling him that she and Stu are on their way home. Just then, Drew, Chaz, Betty, Howard, Chuckie, Phil and Lil arrive. Drew wonders why everyone else is present, but Chaz then tells him everything. Stu, Didi and Charlotte then arrive, and Grandpa Lou excuses himself, telling Angelica to hide the food, while he keeps them busy. However, everyone seems suspicious and accuses Lou of inviting everyone to the Pickles' house. Lou opens the door to reveal Angelica eating the food, thinking that Grandpa meant "eat the food" by "get rid of it".

Stu asks him if he fell asleep again. Tommy finds the voice changer, picks it up, and stands near Angelica. Tommy then leans the voice changer to Angelica's mouth and talks in Charlotte's voice through the machine. After everyone finds out Angelica did all this, Angelica gets in huge trouble and is forced to eat only flan, while everyone else returns the gifts to the toy store and the other desserts and go home. Lou also is forced to eat flan, without any teeth, because he fell asleep. Stu then shoves his invention in the vault because he realizes that it is not ready for mankind.

Trivia

• This is one of the only times the episode starts off with Tommy and none of the other babies in the playpen.
• This is the only appearance of Stu's voice-changing invention.
• When Stu puts his voice-changer in the vault, we can see what looks like Mr. Friend from "The Mysterious Mr. Friend".
• Even if Tommy DID succeed on waking up Lou, he wouldn't be aware of the fact that Angelica prank called the deli and almost every one on the speed dial.
• In reality prank calling is illegal so Angelica would of been in prison.
