Eurocom Ent

Eurocom (formerly Eurocom Entertainment Software) was a British video game developer founded in October 1988 by Mat Sneap, Chris Shrigley, Hugh Binns, Tim Rogers and Neil Baldwin, to specifically develop games for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Since then, Eurocom expanded to several other platforms including handheld game systems and most major video game consoles.

The company was once famous for its arcade to console ports, but became better known for working with licensed properties such as Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, the James Bond 007 series, and Batman Begins.

On 23 November 2012, Eurocom laid off around 75% of their 200 employees, in a statement company director Hugh Binns said "... Eurocom are undertaking a restructuring which I regret to say has meant we've made the majority of our workforce redundant today ...", attributing a "steep decline in demand for console games", and "...will be focusing mainly on mobile opportunities moving forward."

On 6 December 2012, the company laid off its remaining staff and ceased operations.
