Tommy and Chuckie are watching a sci-fi horror movie about a child discovering that his father, who he thought was a normal adult, was actually a robot. Stu, Tommy's father, decides to turn the television off and send the children to bed as the movie is "too scary" for them. After being placed in their cribs, Tommy and Chuckie wonder if their parents are grown-ups or really robots in disguise. Chuckie hopes that it was true.
In search of finding this out, they slowly creep into Stu and Didi's room while they are asleep and see if Stu a robot by twisting his "bolts" with a toy wrench. After screaming in pain and waking up, Stu locks the babies' crib up tight so they will not escape, but they end up getting out. This time, after Tommy gets Chuckie to come out of his crib again, Stu begins sleepwalking into the kitchen.
The babies follow him and after Stu cracks eggs on the floor as part of his famous "Stu Pickles Omelette", he hears them and chases them around in the manner of robot walking as he thinks they are Drew. Stu collapses on a chair. Didi wakes Stu up and the babies get back into their cribs before the parents come in.
Stu tells Didi that he dreamt Tommy and Chuckie trying to open his chest as if he was a robot after walking into Tommy's room. Didi tells him that Tommy would never do that. Tommy giggles. The adults walk out of the room. Chuckie tells Tommy that his father could be a robot.
- This is the third time characters watch television in the series, but only the second time television causes a major part of an episode's storyline.
- When Stu is putting the babies to bed, he tells Chuckie that his mother and father will be picking him up. However, Chuckie's mother is supposed to already have died at this time in the series.
- This is the third time Tommy wears an orange shirt, the first being Tommy Pickles and the Great White Thing, the second being the beginning of Tommy's First Birthday (in the rest of that episode, it is red).
- This episode is similar to the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Krab-Borg."
