Rugrats: Search for Reptar is the first game in the Rugrats games series. It features many of the characters. The video game was released in 1998 for the PlayStation. It was later exclusively released in France for PC and MAC as part of a three game compilation titled Coffret 3 Razmoket: 3 jeux Razmoket.

Plot[]

The main story line is that Tommy Pickles has lost his Reptar puzzle. The pieces seem to be lost all over the house. Now, the babies are on a quest to find the missing pieces. In the game you mostly control Tommy but depending on what level you are playing you will also be able to control Chuckie Finster, Phil and Lil DeVille, Angelica Pickles , Spike, and Reptar.

To get outside, while not on a mission, simply walk up to either the kitchen door or the door in the play pen and press the "Circle" button.

Aims[]

The game is set around the Pickles home where the character explores the house looking for portal objects that take you to a particular game. Once you have completed a game you will receive a puzzle piece, with the aim of the game being to get all the piece back to complete Tommy's Reptar puzzle.

There are also items called Reptar Bars hidden around the Pickles home, and even some in the different gaming levels. Look out for these and collect them as collecting fifteen of them gets you an extra puzzle piece.

Notably, there are also two unused items in the level; a corn popper toy and an alternate version of Tommy's airplane from "Let There Be Light".
  • Be Bad - Crashes upon loading
  • Ice Cream Mountain - Crashes upon loading; separate from the mini-golf mini game which has its own level slot under the title Ice Cream Mountain Hole One.
