Rugrats Rap (stylized as Rug Rap in the credits) is a song by Kriss Kross. It was featured exclusively on Nickelodeon Home Video Tapes, along with Rugrats Rock, beginning with the Chuckie the Brave VHS.

Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil and Susie,

Its a Rugrat, from under the mat,
Its a Rugrat, its a Rugrat Rap. (x2)
These are the kids that are bringing in the new style
Out of the crib with a bib, just to make you smile
Milk in the bottle of the Rugrats just in case,
They need to squirt that milk in your big face.
SPLISH! SPASH! BOOM! There is is, Gotcha!
Let the Rugrats outsmart ya,
The rats, the Rugrats, curious as a cat,
Crawling on the scene, coming clean, cause they're all that
At home, in the cradle or the toy store
Looking for adventure cus' they want more.

Yeah, we're gonna kick it one more time with Tommy, Chuckie, Susie, Phil and Lil and all the crew,
Cos a baby's gotta do what a baby's gotta do, you know?
Little Tommy Pickles and the gang, don't mess around,
Get up, fall down, crawling in your town,
Don't look now but coming up behind you,
Hey! Its a Rugrat sneaking up to find you.

Yeah, the Rugrat Rap.
Yeah we're outta here boy!
Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil and Susie,
And Nickelodeon!

Music video

On every home video that it is on, it comes with a music video, that contains clips from the show (sometimes edited), and some effects.

  • It is not known when this was written and/or recorded, but since it mentions Susie, it would have to be written past 1993. G

  • The song is shortly played in the 90's Are All That anthem as it plays "It's a Rugrat, it's a Rugrat rap, it's a Rugrat from under the mat".
  • In the rebranded version of the 90's are all that, "The Splat ", the song was played during commercial during the Reptar Takeover Week
  • The roll call at the begining of the song, which states Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, and Susie's names, is used in the Remixalodeon song on "The Splat "
