Summary Edit

The Rugrats act out Grandpa Lou's pirate story in the sandbox.

RecapEdit

Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, and Lil are outside in the Pickles' backyard. For storytime, Grandpa Lou reads the children a book about pirates. Excited, the children act out on an adventure to find treasure, with Tommy being Long John Tommy. No sooner did they find the treasure, did they get chased by Admeral Angelico of the Spinach Mane. After a daring sword fight, Angelico made Long John Tommy walk the plank. Tommy was just about to fall into the water, when Didi angrilly took Angelica into the house  and made her "swab the decks" for a while. Tommy was relieved that Angelica never got the treasure, and showed it to his friends.

TriviaEdit

• This is the first time Grandpa Lou appears without Stu and Didi.
• This is the first episode of season two to take place outside.
• This is the first episode to feature the children imagining something rather than actually doing it.
• The Treasure consists of Spike's Droppings, a Duplo brick, yellow and green playdoh clumps, a broken hair curler and a comb.
